The Mound Police Investigations Unit is currently comprised of 1 Lieutenant and 2 detectives.
Detectives follow-up on the most serious of offenses which have either been reported by a member of the community or passed on by the Patrol Unit. Mound Detectives have extensive training in their field and bring invaluable experience to their profession and to the people of our community.
Mound Detectives are frequently called upon by neighboring agencies to lend a hand and offer alternative expertise to cases. Ultimately the safety of Mound’s citizens is the utmost concern for the Investigations Unit and Detectives use their involvement through all cases to pinpoint how these cases could affect our community as a whole.
