The Mound Police Community Services Unit is currently comprised of two Community Service Officers (CSO) and is overseen by the lieutenant and chief of police.
CSO’s provide supplemental service as an aid to the Patrol Unit. CSO’s are certified First Responders or EMT’s and respond to medical emergencies, nuisance complaints, property disputes, animal complaints, vehicle lock-outs, parking complaints, fingerprinting requests, and other calls for service.
